This Privacy Policy explains how Roman Lytvynenko PE, Yanhelia 20, Kyiv 02000, Ukraine (“Dedoc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards personal data when you visit our websites, purchase Scramble PRO, or interact with our support team. It applies to all services linked to this document (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Data We Collect
Information you provide Purchase details (name, company, billing country, email) collected when you check out through our payment provider. Support communications, feature requests, and other content you send via email or in-product messengers. License management data, including API key assignments and team member contact information for Team plans.
Information collected automatically Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on page) captured through PostHog analytics when the site runs in production. Basic diagnostic logs generated by our infrastructure to secure and operate the Services.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data. Please avoid sharing confidential or highly regulated information in support tickets.
2. How We Use Data
Deliver the Services, including issuing and validating license keys and providing download instructions. Process payments and send transactional messages related to purchases, renewals, or product updates. Provide technical support, answer questions, and improve response quality. Analyze aggregated usage data to understand feature adoption, troubleshoot issues, and plan the roadmap. Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
3. Legal Bases
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract when processing purchase details, license data, and support messages.
- Legitimate interests to operate and secure the Services, analyze usage patterns, and enforce policies.
- Consent for any optional marketing communications (if introduced in the future); you can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing and Processors
We limit disclosures to what is necessary:
- Help Scout Beacon powers in-app messaging and support ticketing.
- PostHog provides product analytics and event tracking.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms and is contractually required to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data Retention
- Purchase and licensing records are retained for the period required by Ukrainian accounting regulations (typically 3–7 years).
- Support correspondence is stored for as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain context for future interactions.
- Analytics data is retained only as long as necessary for product insights and security monitoring, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including least-privilege access to production systems, encryption in transit, and key rotation for license infrastructure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your own systems and credentials.
7. International Transfers
Data may be stored or processed in Ukraine, the European Union, or other jurisdictions where our processors operate. When transferring data internationally we rely on contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Children’s Data
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and, if required, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after the changes take effect signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
